On this clip from Episode 39 of The Sonic Road Podcast, Moon Destroys guitarist Juan Montoya tells Beau about spotting metalheads secretly enjoying Cocteau Twins from the balcony back in the day.
He breaks down how listening to bands like Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, and Nick Cave pushed him to break away from basic chugga-chugga riffs and add atmospheric textures when playing guitar in Torche.
